On the Commandments of the Church

Taken from The Sinner’s Guide by the Venerable Louis of Granada chap. 38

Besides these sins against the Commandments of God there are those against the commandments of the Church, which also impose upon us a grave obligation. Such are the precepts to hear Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation; to confess our sins at least once a year, and to receive the Holy Eucharist at Easter or thereabouts; to pay tithes to our pastor, and to observe the days of fasting and abstinence prescribed by the Church.
The precept of fasting is binding from the age of 21 and upwards; that of abstinence obliges all who have attained the age of reason. The sick, the convalescent, nursing women, women in pregnancy, those whose labors are severe, and those who are too poor to afford one full meal a day, are exempt from the law of fasting. There may be other lawful reasons for dispensation, for which the faithful ought to apply to their pastor or confessor, and not take it upon themselves to set aside the law of the Church.
The difference between abstinence and fasting should be remembered. By fasting we mean eating only one full meal in the day, with a slight collation in the evening. By abstinence we mean giving up the use of flesh-meat. It should be borne in mind, therefore, on Ember days and at other times of fast, that the law is not fulfilled by simply abstaining from meat. Unless you are excused by some of the reasons given above or by dispensation, you must observe the fast by eating only one full meal, with the collation in the evening, and a warm drink, with a cracker or small piece of bread, in the morning.
In regard to hearing Mass, we must endeavor to be present at the Holy Sacrifice not only in body but in mind, with silence and recollection, having our thoughts fixed upon the mystery of the altar, or upon some other pious subject. The recital of devout prayers, especially the Rosary, is an excellent means of keeping ourselves united with God. If we are at the head of a house we must be careful to see that all under our charge hear Mass, not only on Sundays, but also on holy days. Too much laxity regarding holy days is apt to prevail among those who earn their bread by the sweat of their brow. They should remember that the obligation to hear Mass on a holy day is the same as the obligation to hear it on Sunday. Consequently, they must make serious and sincere efforts to comply with this duty. To attend an early Mass may involve the loss of a little sleep, but they should remember that these holy days occur but seldom, and that they must do something to atone for their sins and to merit the kingdom of Heaven.
Parents and employers will have a severe account to render to God if they cause or permit those confided to their care to neglect this sacred duty. When there is a just reason, such as the care of the sick or any other pressing necessity which prevents Mass, we are released from the obligation.

Infallibility of the Church

The Church cannot teach error, because it was founded by Christ, God Himself. He sent forth His Apostles with full powers to preach His Gospel. He said. “As the Father has sent me, I also send you” (John 20:21). “I will ask the Father and he will give you another Advocate to dwell with you forever. . . . But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your mind whatever I have said to you” (John 14:16,26).

What is meant by the infallibility of the Catholic Church? –By the infallibility of the Catholic Church is meant that the Church, by the special assistance of the Holy Ghost, cannot err when it teaches or believes a doctrine of faith and morals.Christ promised: “All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and teach all nations … teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you all days, even unto the consummation of the world” (Matt. 28:20). If Christ is with the Church all days, it cannot err in teaching; it cannot lead men away from God.

  1. “Infallibility” is often distorted by enemies of the Church to mean “impeccability”, and therefore derided. Infallibility is freedom from error; impeccability is freedom from sin. In an institution established by God for the salvation of men, error in doctrine is unthinkable.Every teacher in the Church, from the Pope down to the humblest priest, like all of the faithful, is capable of falling into sin. But in the Catholic Church, because of the promise of Infallibility, the Holy Ghost cannot permit the purity of a single doctrine to be stained.
  2. Jesus Christ promised to preserve the Church from error. If His prediction and promises were false, then He would not be God, since God cannot lie. Christ said: “Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” If therefore the Church falls into error, the gates of hell certainly would prevail against it.Christ promised: “I will ask the Father, and he shall give you another Advocate to dwell with you forever … He will teach you all the truth” (John 14). If the Church can err, then the Holy Ghost cannot abide in it and Christ has failed to keep His promise-a thing absolutely impossible.
  3. A doctrine of faith is something we must believe in order to be saved. A doctrine of morals is something we must do in order to be saved. For example, we must believe the doctrine of the Blessed Trinity: that there are Three Divine Persons in One God. We must believe that Jesus Christ is God. We must believe in the Blessed Virgin Mary’s immaculate conception.Of things we must do are these: we must go to Mass on Sundays and holydays of obligation; we must fast and abstain when our bishops so order; we must receive Holy Communion at least once a year. We must obey the Ten Commandments.
  4. Jesus Christ commanded all men to listen to and obey the Church, under pain of damnation. If His Church can teach error, then He is responsible for the error, by commanding all to obey.Jesus sent forth His Apostles with full powers to preach His Gospel: “As the Father hath sent Me, I also send you.” – “Make disciples of all nations teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” – “Preach the Gospel to every creature.”

    1. Christ said: “He who believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he who does Hot believe shall be condemned” (Mark 16: 16). A just God could not command men under penalty of damnation to believe what is false. So the teaching of the Church must be infallibly true.He said: “You shall be witnesses for me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the very ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). Since it was physically impossible for the Apostles to preach to the whole world, the mission must have been intended also for their successors to the end of time, our Catholic Bishops and priests.
    2. Christ said: “If he refuse to hear even the Church, let him be to thee as the heathen and the publican” (Matt. 18:17) “He who hears you hears me; and he who rejects you rejects me; and he who rejects me rejects him who sent me” (Luke 10:16) .He said, “And whoever does not receive you, or listen to your words-go forth outside that house or town, and shake off the dust from your feet. Amen I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that town” (Matt. 10:14-16).

  5. No Christian denies that the Apostles were infallible. In fact, in the first century, they were the only authority in the Church. The Bible was not completed till the end of that century, not within reach of all.But God loves the Christians of today as much as He did the primitive Christians. We have as much need of unerring teachers as they. The Apostolic Church of the 20th century must therefore be as infallible as the Apostolic Church.
  6. An infallible Bible is no use without an infallible interpreter. History has proved this, in the multiplication of the innumerable denominations that deny the infallibility of the Church. By infallibility, the faithful know exactly what to believe and what to do in order that they may be pleasing to God and save their souls. They have surety; they need suffer no doctrinal doubt. It is a great blessing that, in the midst of the everchanging views of men and the conflict of human opinion, there is one voice crying out in unerring tones: “Thus saith the Lord.”
Has the Church in fact proved itself infallible? –It is a historical fact that the Catholic Church, from the twentieth century back to the first, has not once ceased to teach a doctrine on faith or morals previously held, and with the same interpretation; the Church has proved itself infallible.

  1. It is a historical fact that not one Pope, whatever he was in his private life, has ever taught error.“The Scribes and the Pharisees have sat on the chair of Moses. All things, therefore, that they command you, observe and do. But do not act according to their works.” By obeying the Pope, every Christian can live as Christ commanded, in any age.
  2. True, some high rulers of the Church have gravely sinned. Nevertheless, enemies of the Church have exaggerated even the lack of impeccability. In the long line of Popes the vast majority led virtuous lives. Many of them are honored as Saints and martyrs. The enemies of the Church can bring charges against only five or six Popes: Most of the charges are calumnies or exaggerations. But even if the charges were true, they prove nothing against infallibility.Of the Sovereign Pontiffs that have succeeded Peter, 84 are canonized Saints, of whom 32 were martyrs. However holy the Pope, he regularly goes to confession to a priest. No Pope ever considers himself above the laws of the Church and of God.
  3. The Church cannot change its teachings on faith and morals. But it may restate the doctrines more clearly and completely. Year after year the Church proclaims the same unchanging doctrines. Her doctrines need no reform, for they are of Divine origin, the work of the Incarnate God.No Pope or general Council in almost two thousand years has annulled or revoked a single decree of faith or morals enacted by a previous Pope or Council. This is history.

Religious Liberty

“And if any man think himself to be religious, not bridling his tongue, but deceiving his own heart, this man’ s religion is vain.” James 1:26

The illusion that we can get to everlasting joy in Heaven by doing anything we want but what God the Son has commanded of us. Just because you have the right to do something doesnt make it right to do. Liberalism in all its forms is heretical to the teachings of Christ. What is being achieved by liberalism, is fulfillment of the needs and wants of man disguised as lawful, politically correct, etc.

People just do not care anymore. “Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me.” James 14:16 People these days appeal to things that give them options. They are unaware of the design of their punishments according to their accounts. Protestants have taken all the hard, meriting, works, and religous thinking from the Church of Christ. There is no confession, there is no repercussion for actions. People look for justice when it comes to.murder,  rape, and child disciplines. They don’t however consider adultry, birth control, divorce, abortion, gay marriage, all the unnatural things that have now become human rights. Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not commit adultry. These are the commandmants of God. Our Creator, is pushed away, mankind is so enveloped in what they think they have a right to.

Mankind (prominent in America) believes it is owed something, for being made from absolutely nothing; it is held in existence by its Creator of which everyone has elected to ignore, modify, or destroy to their liking. Morality has been perverted, obedience done away with, and religion shunned in exchange for made up “spirituality”. Truth is nonexistent,  and people worry more about the environment and making it to the gym than the salvation of their own souls for eternity.

Everyone in this day and age is a victim, yet no one is wrong. Accountability for one’s self is rare, and blame is about as abundant as the court cases our media spews at us. The general notion of God has become someone who is a friend and buddy more so then a Lord and Creator of all things.  There is no reverence,  people do not bow their heads when the Holy Name of Jesus is said, they don’t kneel instead they hold hands in prayer and focus on each other. The sign of the cross is never made even though the cross is the sign of salvation for all mankind.

People wish to divorce Christ from His Cross. They do not want to be reminded of His pain and suffering for our salvation. They only want the good elements of religion, without the suffering,  the prayer, and most importantly the sacrifices. People only want the benefits of responsibility without the responsibility itself, when someone gets in the way of that its infringing on human rights. They want sex for pleasure,  families are planned these days with picking the number and gender of kids they have, to their liking.

Natural order has been completely obscured, pride runs rampant leading to other deadly ways of living. As with Free Masons and other such groups,  human rights take the place of what is actually right,  and good.  An animal has more rights and focus then a fetus. Mankind has options for everything. Surgery to change anything you want, endless music and static, movies, and TV shows. Everything you need to forget your problems, and your true commitments.

The teaching of the Protestant reformers contradict reason:

There are many beliefs put forward in the writings of the Protestant reformers which are anti-Christian, illogical and contradict reason. One example we give here is the theology put forth by Calvin, Zwingle and Beza which in summary says that it is God’s will that we sin, and because we cannot avoid the will of God, we can not act otherwise, therefore we are not at fault for any sin. Where in Scripture is this taught we ask? This blatantly contradicts reason and Scripture.Another belief put forth in the writings of Calvin mentions the Law of God is impossible. What else does this imply other than Our Lord is a tyrant who commands impossible things? If it is impossible, why is it commanded?

Even more absurd is the belief of Luther, Zwingle, and Calvin that the whole Church may have erred for a thousand or so years in understanding the Word of God, yet these reformers can each guarantee they understand it right! “If the salt lose its savor, wherewith shall it be salted?” Matthew 5:13. In other words if the Church, the guardian of truth, were to lose the truth, by whom shall the truth be found? By Luther? By Calvin? We find it infinitely more likely that the Protestant reformers erred rather than the entire Church.

Another absurdity we see with the Protestant reformers is their claim that the Catholic Church has erred, and that all men can err, and then follow this by preaching their own interpretation of certain verses of the Scriptures, claiming it as the Word of God. If everyone else has erred or is capable of erring, how can the Protestant reformers be so audacious to claim they have not erred?

Another absurd belief of the Protestant reformers is that we must interpret the Scriptures by the analogy of faith. This can only lead to countless denominations with opposing views, and when any of these opposing denominations presents their view of a verse in Scripture, Protestants admire every interpretation given as though all are acceptable to God! This is illogical, for as we mention above, if one denomination believes in the real presence in the Holy Eucharist while another believes the Eucharist is just a symbol, only one can be correct. The real presence is either TRUE, or IDOLATRY, so believing one or the other will decide whether or not we are saved. Where in Scripture did Jesus say believing in two totally opposite views is acceptable? In addition, where else in the world is such a belief accepted that many views are acceptable? Surely mathematicians and scientists do not allow multiple beliefs for the same situation and neither do we see such an illogical belief anywhere else. Yet how illogical is it for the Protestant reformers to suddenly propose an “all beliefs are acceptable” belief starting in the 16th century?

Considering we all believe in Jesus and what He taught us, is it not more logical for Jesus to have left seven Sacraments for the justification and sanctification of the sinner rather than leave just two, one of which serves for nothing and the other for little? Would it not be more logical for Jesus to have left the power of absolving in the Church then to have not left it at all? Would it not be more logical for Our Lord to have left a visible Church, which is universal, of striking aspect, and perpetual than to have left it little, secret, scattered and liable to corruption? Our Lord and His Apostles taught truth, never contradiction. These illogical beliefs and contradictory teachings which we mention above are clearly either contrary to the teachings of Christ, contradict reason or contradict themselves, and the Protestant reformers propose many of these beliefs in their reformation as medicine for the Church?

We are but Instruments for the Use of God’s Will

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners: and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” James 4:8

As has been pointed out in previous posts, we know that all good comes from God. Anything that does not come from God is not good, because mankind has the free will to accept the good things from God or not. This includes so-called Christian religions not revealed to us by Christ, private interpretations of Scripture, religous movements, addictions, distractions, things that are man-made that are not a testament to God’s goodness and glory. A lot of these things may appear good, or may have the appearance of being Christian,  but once again being Christian means accepting everything Christ has taught us through His Church (the Catholic Church). These things are in fact used by the Devil to pull people away from the one true Faith, under the false notion of being good, by the millions.

Noe’s Ark not only existed and is recorded in the Old Testament, but remains of the Ark have been found. This story is also represented in the New Testament with the establishment of Christ’s Church as the Ark, and the ratio of those who will make it to everlasting life and those who perish. There are an abundant amount of relations between the Old Testament and the New, that when not taken out of context apply to the Catholic Church. The “Catholo” (Greek for everywhere the same, universal), is the religion revealed by God. We are called to give testimony to that religion and that one alone, because God gave it to us at the last supper (the first mass). If you look at Jewish tradition before Christ, the Mass is in direct correlation with the old practices of the Pascal meal, as well the sacrifices that use to be made (more on this and what has happened to the Catholic Church to come).

The point is that if we really truly believe what has been mentioned above then one must live his life in accordance with it; in hopes that our example can be one for others to follow to God. Man was created for a supernatural end, not just a natural one of dying. We were called to a supernatural end of seeing Our Creator (the Beatific Vision), face to face for eternity. This may not sound like much, but seeing God will fulfill every possible want and need we could ever have, forever. We can only obtain this by using a supernatural means, His Church. Using anything else will only obtain us a natural end which is death, forever.

His Church, when we let go of our wills, teaches us how to be holy, how to be truly happy, and how to be Christian. It has to, for if it did not it would not be a means. Let us look at some evidence:

The true Church of Christ ought to always practice the perfection of Christian life:

Looking at the New Testament, it is filled with teachings from Jesus on how to live the perfect Christian life. There are many examples of recommended virtues direct from Scripture. In addition to these virtues, Jesus was entirely poor and lived on alms as an example to us, and taught His Apostles to carry nothing when they went to preach. He also taught us to be humble, meek and obedient even to those of which we have no obligation. He left us examples of poverty, chastity, and self-denial. Of what purpose were all these examples if they were not to be put into practice?

Considering the examples Jesus has set for us, consider the lives of the Saints who have imitated these virtues throughout their entire lives and were able to perform miracles as Our Lord did. Moreover, the Catholic Church as a whole has always put into practice these virtues in every season for the love of God.

Consider the glory of so many Saints and other devout religious who gave up all and risked their lives to travel to foreign countries and spread the faith, without other expectation than of labors, miseries, and martyrdom, and without  any other aim than the honor of God and the salvation of souls.

Many of these Saints have died for Christ as did St. Peter, St. Paul, St. Polycarp, St. Agnes and St. Cecilia.

They have won whole nations to Christ like St. Patrick, St. Boniface, St. Ansgar, St. Methodius, and St. Francis Xavier.

They have founded religious orders of men and women that won countless souls to the perfect following of heroic virtues such as St. Benedict, St. Bernard, St. Francis, St. Dominic, St. Madeline Barat.

They have given up all in life to care for the sick, the poor and the imprisoned such as St. Camillus, St. Vincent de Paul, and St. John of Matha.

They have defended the faith in every part of the world as did St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, St. Ambrose, St. Thomas Aquinas, and St. Canisius.

These are just a few examples. Now compare these to the lives of the Protestant reformers and their subsequent churches who condemned the monastic discipline and gave it up altogether. And rather than imitate the virtue of poverty, many aim to make the temporal goods of their church theirs.

The virtue of chastity was condemned and has been scarcely practiced since. In addition, without a Pope to be obedient to and no need to consult others on interpretation of Scripture, the virtue of obedience was blurred. And with no need to confess sins, the borders of morality have been blurred as well. Martyrdom is also scarcely heard of in Protestant churches since the Reformation. Many ministers marry when they did not in the early Church. (“He that is without a wife, is solicitous for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please God.” 1 Cor 7:32).

Why did the Protestant reformers oppose and stop practicing these virtues in direct opposition to the examples of Our Lord and early Church?

In summary, the Protestant reformers and most Protestant churches that came afterward have abandoned these virtues of the perfect Christian life at the word of the reformers; ordinary men. Yes, all of these virtues are not mandatory, but we can see they are highly recommended in Scripture. Christ gave us these repeated examples for a reason, and the Catholic Church and Her Saints and those in monasteries have continually practiced these virtues to the fullest. If we are to achieve Heaven we need to as well, the greater we practice these virtues of Faith so as to lead others, the greater reward we merit from God for eternity.

Free Masonry

Some facts about Freemasons

Freemasonry and the Masonic Lodge
· 6 million masons worldwide: 33,700 lodges
· 4 million members in U.S.: 15,300 lodges
· Formed in 1717 in London, England
· All masons enter the “Blue Lodge” in the beginning and make their first three degrees
· From there, they can choose to go into the Scottish Rite (32 degrees with 33rd being honorary) or York Rite (13 degrees and opportunity to join Shriners)
· Shriners are the highest level of Masonry
· Every mason takes a blood oath to preserve masonry
· Oath taken before “Worshipful Master”
· Dr. Albert Pike is the leading quotable authority on freemasonry wrote “Morals and Dogma”
· Masonry is a religion “Every masonic lodge is a temple of religion and its teachings are instruction in religion” pg. 213. “Masonry is from the earliest times the custodian and depository of the great religious truths, unknown to the world at large and handed down from age to age by unbroken current of tradition that was embodied in symbols, emblems and allegories.” Pg. 210. “Masonry is a worship. Masonry is the universal religion in the heart of universal humanity. The ministers of this religion are all masons. Its sacrifices are to God, our good works and perpetual efforts to attain to moral perfection of which man is capable” pg 219
· “The mystery of the Blue Lodge, which every mason joins, finds symbolic meaning within the temple and the whole structure which was intended to represent the universe. The grand principle of the occult philosophy, veiled under the name Kaballah, and so little understood by the mass of initiates of the ancient and modern free masonry.” Pg. 304
· Symbolism behind the compass and rule: Compass represents the heavens and the male generative deity. The rule represents the earth and the female deity. They are coming together in the generative action. The “G” in the middle stands for the “generating principle of life”.
· Mason’s God is named “JBO” for Jehovah, Baal, and Osiris
· According to Masons, Jesus was simply a great reformer and that He taught a lofty morality. He was just like Confucius, Buddha, Mohammad, and Moses.
· All Shriners take a blood oath and swear allegiance to Allah, the God of Mohammad and the Arabs as his God.
· Red Fez for Shriners: “Why do they wear the red fez and why does it have an Islamic sword and crescent on it. When Mohammad and the Muslims swept across North Africa in the 7th century they came to Fez, Morocco. In Fez, there is a large Christian Community and Mohammad had ordered the slaughter of all the infidels, meaning Christians, who would not bow down to Allah and Mohammad. When those Christians refused, the Muslims went in with the Islamic Sword and they slaughtered the Christians by the thousands. And then to glory in the defeat of Christianity, the Muslims would take their Fez and dip it in the blood of the Christians slaughtered by the Islamic sword to glory in the defeat of Christianity. And every Shriner now wears the red Fez with the Islamic sword to glory in the defeat and slaughter of Christians.”
Historic Origins of Modern Masonry
Modern Masonry was founded in London in 1717 when four small Masonic lodges united to become the Grand Lodge of England. Subsequently, in 1736, the first Masonic Lodge in Europe, the Grand Orient Lodge in Paris, was founded.
Freemasonry known also as the Craft or the Brotherhood, was no longer a guild of operative stone masons who had built Europe’s great Catholic cathedrals, It had become a collection of intellectuals who out of pride valued reason over faith which in turn led to a descent into the spiritual darkness of self-deification.
In Defense of Christianity
Since 1738, the Popes have warned of the intrinsic deceitfulness of Freemasonry and similar secret societies because of their rejection of Jesus Christ as the Savior and Redeemer.
The intrinsic evil of Masonry, which embraces organized naturalism and denies the divinity of Christ, was already so evident by 1738 that Pope Clement XII in an encyclical binding to the entire Christian Church admonished the faithful to avoid membership in and association wit Freemasonry: ” All the faithful of Christ of whatever state, grade, condition or order, we ordain stringently and in virtue of holy obedience, that they shall not under any pretext enter, propagate or support the aforesaid societies, known as Freemasons, or otherwise named, that the faithful shall not be enrolled in them, or take part in their proceedings, assist them, or afford them in any way counsel, and, or favor, publicly or privately, directly or indirectly, by themselves or by others in any way whatever under pain of excommunication to be incurred by the very act without further declaration….” Absolution from this most grievous offense against God, was only obtainable from the successor to St. Peter.
Clements’s condemnation was absolute “…because of the wickedness and perversion of Masonry and their ability to deceive.”
In 1829, Pope Pius VIII stated, ” Lying is their rule, Satan is their God, and shameful deeds their sacrifice.” And in 1885, Pope Pius IX told the Archbishop of Paris that Masonic secret sects formed ” The Synagogue of Satan.”
Pope Leo XIII, in Human Genus, labeled Freemasonry “this foul plague [with] a fraudulent external appearance,” and proclaimed, “we wish it to be your rule first of all to tear away the mask from Freemasonry and let it be seen for what it really is; and by sermons and pastoral letters to instruct the peoples as to the artifices used by societies of this kind in seducing men.”
Masonic Black Masses
In a 1991 interview Cardinal Eduard Gagnon, member of the Church’s Curia, said he knew from his personal experience in Canada, that Masons stole the Consecrated Hosts to be used in the celebration of Masonic black masses. The Cardinal stated further that Masons had made repeated efforts to influence the Vatican to lift all prohibitions against Catholic membership.
Masonic Wars and Assassinations
The Masonic lodges, together with the Jacobins and the Illuminati masterminded the bloody French Revolution to overthrow the Catholic monarchy and the catholic Church so as to install a Masonic republic. Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were beheaded; the Catholic clergy were either murdered or forced to hide; a Masonic black Mass desecrated the high altar of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, and Masonic governments have ruled France for most of the past two centuries. In 1914, World War I was precipitated by the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir apparent to the Hapsburg throne and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Gavrilo Princep, one of the assassins, testified that the Serbian Masonic Lodge had ordered the assassination-the goal was to destroy both the Hapsburg dynasty and the Austro- Hungarian Empire. Kaiser Wilhelm II stated in his biography that the Masonic Grand Masters of Europe intended to destroy the Catholic Hapsburg dynasty, eliminate the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and destroy the Catholic Church. They were successful in two of the three goals!
In 1917, Maximilian Kolbe watched in horror as the Freemasons, celebrating their bicentennial, marched through the streets of Rome carrying banners depicting Satan defeating St. Michael and declaring: “Satan will rule on Vatican Hill and the Pope will serve as his errand boy.” Martyr and saint, Fr. Kolbe worked tirelessly against Masonry because he knew how this enemy of the Church insidiously effects revolutionary social changes by promoting spiritual paralysis, moral compromise, secular humanism, and the heresy of indifferentism.
In July, 1992,Mexico’s Masonic Grand Master Francisco Valle Guzman condemned the Catholic Church as “the most powerful and ruthless enemy of science, civilization, fraternity and love. Any reconciliation between us is impossible.” He then added that Masonry’s “duty” is to be the “gravediggers” of the Catholic Church.
In the spring of 1993, Mexican Cardinal Posadas Ocampo stated, “the principles and traditional philosophy of the Freemasons makes it clear that they don’t act in our favor,” adding that the 1994 presidential elections “would be an appropriate occasion for change.”
In May 1993, the Cardinal was gunned down in the Guadalajara Airport. Although circumstantial evidence points to a Masonic assassination, Mexico’s Masonic government continues to declare that the murder was an accident.
Warning
At each degree of initiation, Masons take a deadly oath, and swear allegiance to Masonry above God and Country. Under pain of death, they swear never to reveal the secrets of Freemasonry- not even to their wives.
Therefore, no matter what Masons claim about their good works or intentions, they cannot be believed. They are the Church’s diabolical enemy.

Agents of the Anti Christ
Root Causes of the Great Apostasy
St Paul in his second letter to the Thessalonians foretold events which must take place before the second coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
“Let no one deceive you in anyway, for the day of the Lord will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and is exalted above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he sits in the temple of God and gives himself out as if he were God.” (2:3,4)
St. Paul’s letter explicitly prophesizes that the great apostasy and the advent of the Antichrist must precede the second coming. “It is possible for the faithful to recognize the era of the great apostasy or will they be deceived by the lying wonders of the son of perdition the marks of which deceive.”
Our Lord Jesus Christ established His Church to be His teaching authority on earth and He chose St. Peter as the first Pope. It was Pope Pius XII one of St. Peter’s successors who, at a pastoral conference on May 23, 1958, while warning the faithful of the great apostasy also identified the causes of the great apostasy: “the roots of modern apostasy lay in scientific atheism, dialectical materialism, rationalism, illuminism, laicism, and Freemasonry which is the mother of them all.”
